20.6.2016 Letter Published in Irish Times Calling for Investment in Rehabilitation Services

A letter by NAI and nine of its member organisations features in the Irish Times today (Monday 20th June), calling for investment in rehabilitation services for people with neurological conditions.

The letter highlights the dire shortage of rehabilitation services for people with neurological conditions in Ireland and the devastating impact on their health, their dignity and their human rights.

The letter was in response to comments by Professor Joe Harbison, Head of the National Stroke Programme, last week when he called for equal treatment for all Irish patients. His letter can be viewed here
