15.6.2020 Draft Programme for Government Includes a Commitment to Neurorehabilitation
A key goal of the NAI's pre-election campaign was achieved today with the inclusion of a commitment to neurorehabilitation in the draft Programme for Government. The document, which will be submitted to all TDs and subsequently party members for approval, proposes to continue implementation of the National Neurorehabilitation Strategy. A three year implementation plan for the strategy was published by the HSE in February 2019.
NAI's "We Need Our Heads Examined" campaign continues to mobilise the support and strength of its member organisations in order to campaign for action on neurorehabilitation.
