18.10.2019 Campaign seeks rescheduled meeting with Health Minister around implementation plan
Representatives from the "We Need Our Heads Examined" campaign for action on neurorehabilitation have written to the Minister for Health following the cancellation of their planned meeting earlier today.
The campaign are anxious to meet with the Minister to agree a timeframe for publication of the long awaited implementation plan for the National Neurorehabilitation Strategy. While the strategy was published in 2011, it was only in July 2018 that an implementation plan was finally submitted by the HSE to the Ministers Office.
The seventeen national neurological charities are eager to see the plan published as soon as possible in order that implementation can begin without delay.
