9.5.2019 NAI highlights lack of investment in neurorehabilitation services to Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health
In a presentation to the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health on May 8th, the Neurological Alliance called for investment in neurorehabilitation services, highlighting the ongoing impact on thousands of individuals and their families each year.
The NAI statement pointed to the publication of an implementation framework for the National Neurorehabilitation Strategy nearly a decade after the policy was developed. NAI called for dedicated investment to support the three year implementation framework, including the development of a pilot neurorehabilitation network in CHOs 6 & 7.
