NAI continues to work within a coalition of patient organisations led by IPPOSI (Irish Platform for Patient Organisations, Science and Industry) to ensure an inclusive, evidence-based and transparent approach to the roll out of COVID19 vaccines and to prioritise patients, vulnerable persons and family carers in the highest priority category for vaccination.

The Joint Letter from the Coalition to the Taoiseach, NPHET, High Level Task Force and HSE (8th December 2020) is available to download HERE

Later this week, the coalition will respond to an invitation from the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Disability Matters to make a submission outlining concerns regarding persons with disabilities and those who are vulnerable with regards to the rollout of the COVID19 vaccination plan.

Seperately to this: NAI is also working with the Neurology Clinical Programme to develop guidance for people with neurological conditions who have questions in relation to the vaccine rollout and what it will mean for them.
