Research on the Impact of COVID-19 on People with Neurological Conditions in the UK

The Neurological Alliance in the UK launched a report in July 2020 outlining the findings of their survey of over 1,600 people living with neurological conditions.

The survey examined the impact of COVID19 on access to services and supports for 1,672 respondents who completed the survey between June 9th and 20th 2020.

Findings included:

72% of respondents reported that their NHS appointment had been delayed, 4 in 10 did not have a new date

Almost 4 in 10 (39%) due to see a Neurologist were not given a future date for their further appointment

The survey also found evidence of increased isolation, anxiety and concern among people with neurological conditions
