11.5.2022 EFNA issues recommendations for the Neurological Strand of EU initiative on NCDs
In May 2022 the World Health Assembly (WHA) is expected to adopt the Intersectoral global action plan on epilepsy and other neurological disorders (GAP).
EFNA (European Federation of Neurological Associations) has highlighted a potential role for the EU Commission to provide a platform to support member countries to implement the GAP nationally, based on successful examples in other disease areas such as cancer and diabetes.
This is among a series of recommendations issued by EFNA in relation to the EU Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) initiative
