Despite a commitment to put community neurorehabilitation teams in each of the nine community health organisations (CHOS) around the country: only two have been funded t date. Less than thirty new specialist rehabilitation beds have been introduced when 150 are needed.

NAI are calling on the Government to honour their commitment in the Programme for Government to implement the Neurorehabilitation Strategy.
