NAI Executive Director spoke at the launch of a report on Neurogenomics in Ireland at an event in RCSI Dublin on Monday 17th April. 

The report entitled "A Deliberative Dialogue on Neurogenomics in Research and Healthcare" is the outcome of a partnership between FutureNeuro, the PPI ignite network, IPPOSI and RCSI. 

Speaking at the launch, NAI Executive Director, Mags Rogers, noted "From an NAI perspective, the issue of equitable access to genetics services and the need for ongoing representation of the neurology community in the implementation of the National Genomics Strategy represent vital recommendations from this report". 

Ms Rogers recognised the value of the methodology used in the deliberative dialogue "As a member of the governance committee of FutureNeuro, and as a member organisation of IPPOSI, I want to congratulate these organisations on the format of the event which gave an equal voice to all stakeholders, including people with lived experience of neurological conditions.
