Next Tuesday 27^th June, the Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) will publish their pre budget submission, which includes a call for funding to fully staff community neurorehabilitation teams in each of the 9 HSE CHO areas around the country.

Community neurorehabilitation teams provide access to vital therapies including physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, neuropsychology etc for people with a wide range of neurological conditions living in the community.

Only 2 of the 9 teams promised are up and running across the country and even these existing teams are understaffed to meet local needs.
