The Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) have put together a series of three videos for the My Neurology Nurse and Me campaign. We brought together in conversation, clinical nurse specialists, people living with a neurological conditions, carers and family members.
My Neurology Nurse And Me is a national awareness campaign led by the NAI and supported by 16 campaign partners.
The campaign shines a spotlight on the vital role of neurology nurse specialists in supporting people living with neurological conditions across Ireland. Specialist neurology nurses are at heart of neurological services, proving expert clinical support, educating and empowering patients and improving outcomes for people with neurological conditions.
The goal of the campaign is to promote awareness of the essential contribution that nurse specialists make to neurological care.
Neurology nurses play a central role in:
- Informing patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and symptom management
- Enabling people to navigate complex health services and make informed decisions
- Supporting individuals and families emotionally, clinically, and practically throughout their care journey
From diagnosis to long-term management, neurology nurses are a trusted point of continuity, advocacy, and expertise for people living with neurological conditions.
