Patient advocates, NAI members and local representatives came together for an online local meeting to discuss the vital need for a Community Neurorehabilitation Team for North Dublin/North East.

Many thanks to our lived experience representatives, Eugene, Pat and Joe who shared their stories and experiences with us, to Fiona Murphy, CEO of NAI members Headway, Lorna fay, a Community Rehabilitation Case Worker with Headway Ireland and North Dublin and Fingal Community worker Kat Kershaw.
There is currently no community neurorehabilitation team for the North Dublin/North East region. This team was promised in 2019 but has not been delivered.
The NAI are calling for funding for 4 teams in this years budget to deliver on the current Programme for Government commitment to complete the national rollout of community neurorehabilitation teams.
