Brain Awareness Week Launch Webinar is Now Available to Watch

Last Updated:

On Monday, March 16th, to launch National Brain Awareness Week, we hosted a webinar: My Neurology Nurse And Me - Highlighting the Vital Role of Nurse Specialists in Neurological Care.

We were delighted to be joined by:

  • Orla Russell: Candidate Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Neurology and INNF Education Lead
  • Lisa Whelan: Living with Epilepsy
  • Emmet Kelly: Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Rare Neurodegenerative Diseases

Since 2005 Brain Awareness Week has been coordinated by the Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI), and this year we are delighted to have the support of over 50 patient groups, research groups, patient advocates, and the wider neurological community.

The My Neurology Nurse and Me awareness campaign takes place during National Brain Awareness Week (16–22 March). It is led by the NAI and supported by 16 campaign partners.

The campaign shines a spotlight on the vital and often under-recognised role of neurology nurse specialists in supporting people living with neurological conditions across Ireland.
