Joint Health Services Executive, Neurological Alliance of Ireland and Disability Federation of Ireland Project Supporting and Strengthening Lived Experience and Voluntary Organisation Engagement in the Implementation of the National Neuro-Rehabilitation Strategy. 

The Neurological Alliance of Ireland, in partnership with the HSE and Disability Federation of Ireland, is seeking a Project Officer to support a national initiative aimed at strengthening engagement with lived experience representatives and voluntary organisations within the implementation of the National Neuro-Rehabilitation Strategy. 

This is an 18-month full-time role with remote working and national travel requirements. Remuneration will be in line with the Health Service Executive (HSE) Administrative Grade VII salary scale and will reflect the successful candidate’s experience

The successful candidate will play a key role in improving how people with lived experiences and voluntary organisations are supported, engaged and represented across national and regional Neuro-Rehabilitation strategy structures informing the  implementation of the National Neuro-Rehabilitation Strategy 
The role will involve review of current structures and practices, with further  design, development and subsequent rollout of inclusive frameworks for lived experience and voluntary organisation engagement in Strategy implementation. This will be based on stakeholder feedback, best practice approaches and consideration of other models and initiatives across the health and disability sector. 

A strong understanding of health and social care and/or disability policy, excellent communication skills, and experience working with multiple stakeholders are essential. Experience in service co-design, service review and service mapping would be highly advantageous.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence national policy implementation and strengthen skills in project management and stakeholder engagement in healthcare design. Candidates should be highly organised, adaptable, and committed to inclusive, person-centered approaches.

Shortlisting will apply and will be based on the information contained in the CV and the degree to which applicants demonstrate the essential criteria. The first interview will reduce the initial shortlist, and remaining candidates may be invited for a second interview. It is anticipated that the interview process will be completed by the end of June. Incomplete applications, or those that are generic or do not clearly address the role and essential criteria in the covering letter are unlikely to be considered.

The role will be subject to Garda vetting, verification of qualifications and reference checks.
