Research and Policy Officer

Permanent | 35 Hours per Week | Remote (Ireland-based, with some travel)
The Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI), the national umbrella body representing almost 40 patient organisations, is seeking a Research and Policy Officer to join our team.
This exciting role will support the development, implementation and evaluation of research and policy initiatives that inform and influence healthcare policy. The successful candidate will coordinate research projects, analyse health and disability policy developments, prepare reports and submissions, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders including people with lived experience, healthcare professionals, policymakers and member organisations.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with:
• A postgraduate qualification in healthcare research
• At least three years’ experience in healthcare research and/or policy
• Strong research, analytical and report-writing skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Proven project coordination and organisational skills
Experience within the neurological sector is desirable.
Salary will be aligned with the HSE Administrative Grade VII scale and will reflect experience.
