Professor Elena Moro: President European Academy of Neurology

Elena Moro is Professor of Neurology at Université Grenoble Alpes and heads the Department of Psychiatry, Neurology, Neurological Rehabilitation and Forensic Medicine at CHU Grenoble, France. She studied medicine in Trieste, completed neurology training in Rome, and a fellowship in movement disorders in Grenoble. After a PhD in neurosciences, she joined Toronto Western Hospital, Canada, where she directed the surgical programme for movement disorders. Her research focuses on restoring brain function, especially through deep brain stimulation.

Magdalen Rogers is the Chief Executive Officer of the Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI), the national umbrella body representing organisations working with people affected by neurological conditions across Ireland. She undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Psychology and has extensive experience in the not-for-profit and health sectors. She has been a leading advocate for improved services, policy reform, and greater public awareness of neurological conditions.
